Janitza Expands Leadership Team

Effective September 1, 2024, Janitza has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Axel Hessenkämper as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In his new role, Mr. Hessenkämper will oversee research and development, product management, communications, quality assurance, service, and sales. This addition to the management team, which includes Markus Janitza, Rudolf Müller, and Alexander Veith, is a strategic move to address the company’s growing demands and evolving structure.

This development marks a significant milestone in Janitza’s strategic roadmap. A key pillar of this strategy is the international expansion of the company’s business operations. By establishing the CEO position, Janitza aims to ensure the organization has the expertise and framework necessary to drive future growth and achieve its ambitious objectives.

Mr. Hessenkämper brings extensive experience from renowned companies. His previous roles include senior positions at Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik GmbH, GEA Group, DMG Electronics GmbH, and SAUER GmbH—both part of the GILDEMEISTER Group. Most recently, he served as CEO of SCHULZ Systemtechnik GmbH, where he managed group-wide responsibilities across processes, organization, IT, procurement, software development, special machine construction, and sales.
