ENERGIEMANAGEMENT

Energiedatenerfassung mit Impulseingängen

Main features

Ethernet port

The Ethernet connection makes integration into an IT network particularly simple and comprehensive. UMG measurement devices with Ethernet connection operate various IP protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SNMP, DHCP, TFTP, SMTP,...

Pulse input/output

Pulse inputs can be used to record the values of water and gas meters with UMG measurement devices, for example. The working pulses can be transmitted to a control system, e.g. BMS, PLC, SCADA systems, via pulse outputs as measured value transmitters.

Ethernet Modbus gateway

Modbus RTU devices that are connected to the master device as slaves can be very easily integrated into an Ethernet architecture via the Ethernet Modbus gateway. For devices with an identical file format and matching function codes, this is possible directly via the Modbus RTU interface.

Thermistor input

The integrated thermistor input for thermocouples (PT 100/1000, KTY 83 or 84) can be used in a variety of ways. In addition to current and voltage monitoring, sensitive system components can also be protected, e.g. transformer temperature. Typical areas of application are temperature monitoring in low-voltage main distribution boards, transformers or server cabinets.

Memory

Many UMG measurement devices have their own memory with typical record ranges of up to 2 years. Recording is freely configurable. A 128 MByte memory can store around 5,000,000 memory values, a 256 MByte memory can store around 10,000,000 memory values.

Limit value monitoring

Limit value monitoring can be assigned to both alarm management and switching operations. Corresponding UMG measurement devices have digital outputs that are also suitable as switch outputs. This allows certain reactions to be automated if a threshold value is exceeded or not reached.

Areas of application

  • EnMS according to ISO 50001
  • Integration of already installed pulse counters into an EnMS
  • Record non-electrical values
  • Establish KPIs
  • Record and monitor status messages
  • Output alarm messages
  • Ethernet Modbus slave gateway
