The UMG 509-PRO is a powerful network analyzer with residual current monitoring that measures the harmonics current up to the 63rd harmonic. Each analyzer has two digital inputs and two digital outputs.

Main features of the UMG 509-PRO

Memory

Many UMG measurement devices have their own memory with typical record ranges of up to 2 years. Recording is freely configurable. A 128 MByte memory can store around 5,000,000 memory values, a 256 MByte memory can store around 10,000,000 memory values.

Alarm management

The GridVis® alarm management system monitors all measurement parameters obtained by the UMG measurement devices. It includes escalation management, logbook function and user management for individual notifications by e-mail, pop-up window on the monitor, etc.

Residual current (RCM)

Powerful residual current monitoring (RCM) detects residual currents at the initial stage, before they lead to system failures or even fires. Continuous RCM monitoring significantly increases system safety and availability.

Device homepage

The web server on the measurement device provides a wide range of data in a clearly structured format. Users do not need to install any software on their PC, a standard web browser is sufficient.

Ethernet Modbus gateway

Modbus RTU devices that are connected to the master device as slaves can be very easily integrated into an Ethernet architecture via the Ethernet Modbus gateway. For devices with an identical file format and matching function codes, this is possible directly via the Modbus RTU interface.

BACnet

BACnet is one of the most important communication standards for building services engineering, primarily because of its compatibility with a wide variety of hardware and uniform, cross-vendor communication. As soon as a UMG measurement device has received its BACnet ID and is integrated into the network, it is recognized by the system and displayed in the browser.
