The UMG 806 energy analyzer offers the right solution for different requirements. The powerful basic device is ideally suited for cost-oriented applications and features Modbus RTU. It offers the ability to both measure and record residual currents, among other features. By continuously monitoring the residual current, dangerous residual currents can be detected at an early stage and system damage, including production downtime, can be avoided. Expansion of the UMG 806 is possible with the Ethernet communication module.

An added plus is the compact design of the measurement device and the modules. This allows optimal usage of the typically scarce space available in the switchboard cabinet.

Flexible use

The UMG 806 energy measurement device offers you optimum flexibility and adaptability thanks to its two available variants: the UMG 806-LP and the UMG 806.

UMG 806-LP

The UMG 806-LP provides measurement inputs for the connection of low power converters. These converters are characterized by an extremely low secondary side output voltage. Due to the low-level signal on the transformer cable, the secondary side of the transformer must not be short-circuited in open operation. This enhances safety during installation whilst also making integration much easier. Furthermore, low-power transformers are often more cost-effective than many traditional types of transformer, making them a more cost-effective alternative.

UMG 806

The UMG 806 is ideal in situations where conventional transformers have already been installed into the system. It can be seamlessly integrated into existing measurement infrastructure.

Apart from the measurement inputs, both devices are identical in their functions and specifications.
